Search Consultancy is seeking a reliable and professional Gateman to join an upcoming construction project in Hebburn. As a primary point of contact for the site, you will play a vital role in maintaining site security and ensuring the efficient flow of logistics.

Comprehensive Role Specification
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site entrance and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Key responsibilities include:

* Access Control: Managing the main site gate, ensuring all visitors and contractors sign in/out, and verifying that everyone entering has the correct induction and PPE.
* Delivery Management: Coordinating with site management to schedule and receive deliveries, ensuring vehicles are directed to the correct unloading areas.
* Security Oversight: Monitoring the perimeter to prevent unauthorised access and ensuring the site is secure at the start and end of the shift.
* Logistics Support: Assisting the site manager with general site maintenance and ensuring the entrance area remains clear of debris and obstructions.
* Public Relations: Acting as the face of the site, professionally interacting with members of the public and local residents to minimize disruption.
* Compliance: Ensuring all gate activities strictly adhere to the project's Health and Safety requirements and Traffic Management Plan.

Requirements

* Valid CSCS Card.
* Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman ticket (preferred).
* Full PPE (Hard Hat, High-Visibility Vest/Jacket, Steel Toe Boots).
* Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
* Punctuality and a proven track record of reliability on construction sites.
