How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Clinical Lead (Nurse Qualified)
    Kirkby in Ashfield
    £52,000 per annum

    Are you a Registered Nurse ready to take the next step into a genuine leadership role? This is an opportunity to become a Clinical Lead within a well-established care home, where you’ll play a key role in shaping clinical standards, supporting your team, and driving high-quality care every day.
    This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who wants more responsibility, influence, and a clear pathway into senior management.

    The Role
    As Clinical Lead, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager and senior leadership team to ensure outstanding clinical care is delivered across the service. You’ll be visible on the floor, leading by example, mentoring staff, and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care.

    You’ll also gain valuable exposure to the operational side of running a successful care home, giving you the experience needed to progress into management.

    Key Responsibilities
    Maintain and monitor high clinical standards across the service
    Support the Home Manager with policies, procedures, and service objectives
    Oversee resident wellbeing and ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and updated
    Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
    Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing and care teams
    About You
    Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
    Experience in a senior clinical role within a care home environment
    Strong understanding of clinical governance and care planning
    Confident leading teams and driving high standards of care
