We are working in partnership with a leading Further Education provider in Cumrbria to recruit an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join their growing Construction team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a state-of-the-art Construction Skills Centre, supporting learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for a successful career in Building Services.
Whether you’re already in education or looking to move from industry into teaching, full training and support will be provided.
The Role
* Deliver high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation programmes
* Support learners to achieve their full potential across knowledge, skills, and behaviours
* Manage learner progress, attendance, and behaviour effectively
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
* Work collaboratively with a high-performing team to support departmental growth
* Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths & English (or equivalent)
* Strong industry experience within the Electrical sector
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage learner behaviour effectively
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Teaching qualification
* Experience within post-16 / FE education or training
* Trained apprentices in some capacity
* Experience delivering, assessing, or designing curriculum
* Recent teaching experience with strong observation outcomes
