How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a hands-on Quality Engineer role focused on driving improvements across coatings, materials, and chemical processes within a complex aerospace environment.

You’ll take ownership of quality performance across a varied product range, working closely with production and engineering to reduce defects, improve process capability, and strengthen compliance across special processes and surface treatments.

The role is well suited to either an established Quality Engineer or someone stepping up from a senior inspection background who wants to move into a more process-driven, improvement-focused position.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement activities across manufacturing and quality processes
Own root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Manage non-conformances (NCRs) and customer quality issues end-to-end
Improve processes linked to coatings, surface treatments, and chemical processing
Work closely with production and engineering to improve process capability and yield
Support and develop supplier quality, particularly across special processes and coatings
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and support audit activity
Contribute to FAIRs (AS9102) and validation of new or updated processes
Drive improvements in quality systems, documentation, and standards
    Required Experience & Skills

Experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace or high-spec manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and regulated quality environments
Proven track record in continuous improvement, RCA, and CAPA
Strong understanding of GD&T and its application within manufacturing and inspection
Experience working with coatings, surface treatments, or chemical processes
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
Confident working cross-functionally with production, engineering, and suppliers
    Desirable

Exposure to special processes and NADCAP environments
Experience with chemically etched, machined, or fabricated components
    Knowledge of FAIR requirements (AS9102)
Understanding of inspection methods and measurement systems
Experience operating and/or programming CMM equipment
    Candidate Profile

Process-driven with a strong continuous improvement mindset
Comfortable taking ownership of quality issues and driving resolution
    Analytical, structured, and solutions-focused
Strong communicator able to influence across teams
Looking to make a tangible impact in a quality-focused aerospace environment
