How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Night Shift Pickers/Packers – Immediate Start
    Location: Skipton
    Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
    Weekly Pay: £27,560.00 per Annum £530 per week paid each Friday

    Swift Temps Ltd is recruiting Night Shift Picking and Packing Operatives for our client based in Skipton. This is a permanent position with an immediate start available.

    Shift Details:

    * 40 hours per week, Shift time: 17:00 – 01:30 (30-minute unpaid break)

    * 5 days over 6 – Monday to Sunday (Every Saturday off)

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Pack food items into containers according to company and customer specifications

    * Ensure accuracy and quality of all packed items

    * Maintain a clean and organised work environment

    * Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines

    * Efficiently pick customer orders to a high standard for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped

    Requirements:

    * Previous experience in a packing or warehouse role is essential

    * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    * High attention to detail and accuracy

    * Strong communication skills

    * Ability to work effectively as part of a team

    * Forklift licence desirable

    * Own transport required
