Reporting into the Head of HSEQ you will be:
•Visiting various sites and integrate with the delivery teams and providing a solutions-led approach
•Provide operational safety, health, environment and quality support throughout the region
•Conducting regular site inspections to support operational staff working across civil engineering and rail schemes
•Providing a key liaison in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality with internal and external stakeholders
•Driving best practice in a challenging health and safety environment
Knowledge of safety, health & environmental legislation and current construction practices is key. You will also be:
•NEBOSH-qualified (MINIMUM)
•Experienced in utilities or civil engineering projects (ESSENTIAL)
•Experienced in Rail (PREFERABLE)
•CEnv or AIEMA (ESSENTIAL)
•Dynamic and personable
•Able to engage with site teams with safety, health and environment issues
•Driven and autonomous
