TeacherActive is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Taunton to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position, with strong potential to become permanent.

The Role:

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics (specialism welcomed)
Planning, marking and assessing in line with school and departmental policies
Monitoring pupil progress and supporting attainment
Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Successful Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Science within a secondary setting
Be confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Be committed to raising standards and ensuring excellent pupil progress
