How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Safran, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of our supplier network, supporting both operational excellence and overall program performance

    As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Safran, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of our supplier network, supporting both operational excellence and overall program performance

    Key Responsibilities

    -Act as a key interface between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear interpretation and communication of quality requirements.

    -Lead and support supplier quality activities, managing non‑conformances and quality issues within agreed timelines.

    -Monitor and report on supply chain quality performance, including the creation and deployment of metrics to support business objectives.

    -Provide support for First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, including modifications or supplier transfer projects when required.

    -Conduct supplier reviews covering all quality aspects, driving continuous improvement and supporting APQP deployment across programs.

    -Carry out capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection and qualification.

    -Perform analyses, tests, and process audits to ensure manufacturing and testing readiness.

    -Provide Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions for non‑conformances.

    -Execute internal audits to maintain and ensure compliance with AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.

    -Proven experience in Quality within a technical or industrial environment.

    -Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

    -Demonstrated experience in supplier management and direct collaboration with suppliers.

    -Experience in quantitative/statistical analysis, including data collection, preparation, and interpretation.

    -Proven experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of effective corrective actions
