How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Design piping for systems such as:
    Steam, condensate, and cooling water
    Hydrogen and gas distribution
    Thermal fluids and heat‑transfer systems
Carbon capture and chemical process loops
    High‑pressure and high‑temperature applications
Collaborate with process, mechanical, and electrical engineers to optimise system
Support HAZOP/HAZID design considerations and incorporate safety requirements.
Coordinate with fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
Maintain accurate documentation, revision control, and adherence to project quality systems. Qualifications & Experience

HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Piping Designer within the energy, power, utilities, or process industries.
Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor (experience with multiple platforms is advantageous).
Strong understanding of piping materials, fittings, valves, and fabrication methods used in energy applications.
Experience producing isometrics, pipe supports, skid layouts, and equipment arrangements.
Familiarity with pressure systems, rotating equipment, and packaged energy systems.
Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering best practices.

    Skills & Competencies

Excellent 3D modelling and drafting capability.
Strong understanding of safety‑critical design principles.
Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering data.
Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Power generation (gas, steam, biomass, nuclear)
    Hydrogen production or storage
    Carbon capture and utilisation
Renewable energy systems (solar thermal, geothermal, energy storage)
    Water treatment or industrial utilities
