Search Consultancy is looking for a Skilled Plasterer to join our busy internal finishing teams across Hartlepool. We are partnering with leading regional contractors and high-end residential developers who require a flawless, "paint-ready" finish on both large-scale new builds and commercial refurbishments.

The Role

* Skimming & Finishing: Expert application of finishing plaster to plasterboard and prepared masonry to achieve a high-quality, snag-free surface.
* Two-Coat Work: Application of backing coats (float) followed by a setting coat (set) to provide a durable and level internal finish.
* Dry Lining & Tacking: Assisting with the fixing of plasterboards and thermal laminates where required to ensure a seamless transition to plastering.
* Coving & Rendering: Installation of decorative coving and, where specified, the application of internal or external sand and cement renders.
* Productivity Driven: We need Plasterers used to the physical demands of high-volume plot finishing who can maintain a clean workspace and hit strict handover deadlines.

Requirements

* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Plastering is highly desirable.
* CSCS Card: A valid Blue or Gold Skilled Worker card is mandatory.
* Tools & PPE: Full professional kit (including a range of trowels, hawks, mixers, and steps) and standard 5-point PPE.
* Experience: Proven track record in residential new-build finishing or fast-paced commercial internal fit-outs.
* Reliability: Must be able to work efficiently as part of a finishing gang to ensure the following trades can stay on schedule.
* Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
