Search Consultancy is looking for a Skilled Dry Liner to join our busy construction teams across Hartlepool. We are partnering with leading interior fit-out specialists and major house builders who require high-speed, high-quality partitioning and ceiling systems.
If you are a specialist who thrives in a productivity-driven environment and can deliver plumb, flush, and ready-to-finish surfaces, we have immediate starts and long-term runs of work available now.

The Role

* Fixing & Boarding: Expert installation of plasterboard to metal or timber stud frames, including wall linings and encasements.
* Metal Stud Partitioning: Setting out and installing track and stud systems for internal walls and bulkheads to architectural drawings.
* Ceiling Systems: Installation of MF (metal furring) suspended ceilings and lay-in grid systems.
* Insulation & Vapour Barriers: Ensuring all thermal and acoustic insulation is fitted correctly behind boards as per thermal specifications.
* Productivity Driven: We need Dry Liners used to the physical demands of high-volume commercial and residential fit-outs who can maintain a "flat and square" finish for the taping and jointing teams.

Requirements

* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Interior Systems (Dry Lining) is highly desirable.
* CSCS Card: A valid Blue or Gold Skilled Worker card is mandatory.
* Tools & PPE: Full professional kit (including collated screw guns, laser levels, and hand tools) and standard 5-point PPE.
* Experience: Proven track record in large-scale commercial fit-outs, retail refurbishments, or residential plot finishing.
* Reliability: Must be able to work efficiently as part of a gang to hit strict handover deadlines.
* Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
