Project Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of fluid transfer solutions for the Offshore sector and due to growth, they now require a Project Engineer to work from their North East facility.
 
The Role
 
Ensure that projects are delivered per client specification and within timescale and budgetary constraints.
Support the Project Managers in the execution of contracts assigned to the Project team.
Be responsible for scheduling and co-ordinating all Project related activities, internally and externally, required for the execution of Contracts to supply equipment or services.
Liaise with the Client and ensure that all Project deliverables required under the terms of the Contract are delivered in accordance with the Project Schedule.
Ensure the procurement of goods and services required to supply the deliverable detailed in the Contract.
Oversee Project expenditure and ensuring budgets are adhered to or improved where possible
Familiarise yourself with the company's Project Management process and follow the outlined process where relevant.
 
The Person
 
Professional Membership (preferable)
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
Educated to at least HNC level in an Engineering Discipline (or equivalent)
3 years related Project Engineering Experience (preferable)
Sound knowledge of Engineering Drawings
Experience working within the Offshore Industry
