Search Consultancy is looking for an all-round, Skilled Plasterer to join our busy construction teams across Sunderland. We are partnering with leading volume house builders and refurbishment contractors who require tradespeople capable of delivering high-quality finishes at a fast pace.
If you are a Plasterer who thrives in a productivity-driven environment and can move seamlessly from skimming large areas to detailed patching and rendering, we have immediate starts and long-term runs of work available now.

The Role

* Full Finishing Scope: Carrying out internal skimming, two-coat plastering, and dry lining (tacking).
* Surface Prep: Professional preparation of backgrounds, including bonding and applying beads to ensure perfectly straight edges.
* Rendering: Application of external render systems where required to ensure the building envelope is complete.
* Final Finishing: Detailed finishing and snagging to ensure every wall and ceiling is ready for the decorating team.
* Productivity Driven: We need Plasterers used to the speed of new-build sites who can keep the program on track without compromising on a "mirror-smooth" finish.

Requirements

* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering is highly desirable.
* CSCS Card: A valid Blue or Gold card is mandatory.
* Experience: Proven track record in "house bashing," commercial fit-outs, or high-volume residential work.
* Tools & PPE: Full professional kit (trowels, hawks, mixers, etc.) and standard 5-point PPE.
* Reliability: Must be able to work as part of a gang or individually to hit strict plot deadlines.
* Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
