How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Procurement Data Support Associate

Location: Hull City Centre (Hybrid after training)

    Salary: £30,000 per annum

    Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract: 6‑month fixed term (potential for extension)

Industry: E‑commerce | Product & Supply Chain Data

    About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Procurement Data Support Associate to join a rapidly expanding e‑commerce business headquartered in Hull city centre. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product and supply chain data across multiple systems, supporting commercial, sales, and procurement teams.

You will work closely with suppliers, product managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure product information is complete, compliant, and fully optimised for operational efficiency. Following a structured onboarding period onsite, you will transition to a hybrid working model.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for data quality, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration within a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment.

    Key Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain product data in SAP, ensuring all product attributes are complete, accurate, and correctly formatted for internal use.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal supply chain teams to validate data and uphold high standards of product information integrity.
Update and maintain pricing records to ensure commercial teams have access to accurate and timely information.
Respond to internal product data queries, providing clear, accurate, and timely support to procurement, sales, operations, and wider teams.
Liaise with external suppliers to retrieve missing product information and reinforce compliance with internal data governance requirements.
Support the product data governance framework, ensuring workflows, documentation, and data standards are adhered to consistently.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing data accuracy, optimising processes, and strengthening supplier data compliance.

    About You

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates:

Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with both suppliers and internal teams.
The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and deliver high‑quality work under time pressures.
Previous experience in an office, supply chain, procurement, data governance, or administrative role.
Experience with SAP (desirable but not required) and strong general IT literacy.
A proactive mindset, with a drive for problem‑solving and continuous improvement.

    What's on Offer

    £30,000 annual salary
    37.5‑hour working week
Hull city centre office with hybrid working after training
Supportive, collaborative, and forward‑thinking team environment
Opportunity to work in a meaningful role that directly improves data quality, procurement efficiency, and commercial accuracy
Potential for contract extension depending on business needs

    Why This Role Stands Out

This position offers a unique combination of procurement support, data governance, and cross‑functional collaboration, making it ideal for someone looking to develop within supply chain or data‑driven career paths. You will gain hands‑on experience in SAP, supplier engagement, and commercial data management - all within a business that values accuracy, innovation, and continuous improvement.
