HVAC Project Manager Air Conditioning
UK Wide Travel Projects across UK and Ireland
Permanent Full Time
£55,000 to £60,000 plus package plus travel expenses

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Project Manager with a strong air conditioning background to deliver installation projects across the UK and Ireland.

This role suits someone who has progressed from the tools and understands air conditioning systems, site delivery, engineers and project commercials.

You will take full ownership of projects from pre start through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Manage air conditioning installation projects across commercial sites
Deliver installations including split systems, multi split, VRF, VRV, ducted systems, AHUs and chillers
Plan and coordinate engineers, subcontractors and site labour
Attend site meetings, pre starts and client progress reviews
Procure HVAC equipment, materials and plant
Produce and manage RAMS and health and safety documentation
Ensure F Gas compliance and correct commissioning processes
Manage project budgets, variations and programme timelines
Produce O and M manuals and full handover documentation
Carry out site surveys and support estimating and tendering
Maintain strong client, supplier and internal relationships

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager or Air Conditioning Project Manager
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems including VRF, VRV, splits, ducted systems and chillers
Experience managing installation teams and subcontractors
Understanding of F Gas regulations and commissioning procedures
Track record of delivering projects from start to finish
Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
Strong commercial awareness with ability to manage costs and variations
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable

Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or Installer
F Gas qualification
CSCS card
ONC or HNC in Building Services or HVAC
Knowledge of manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba or Panasonic
