We're working with an engineering business in Sheffield who specialise in the repair and overhaul of rotating equipment, including pumps and associated components.
They are looking to recruit an apprentice-trained Manual Machinist to join their workshop team.
The Role
* Operating manual lathes, milling machines and boring machines
* Machining components such as shafts, bearings and general engineering parts
* Working from engineering drawings
* Carrying out repair and one-off machining work
* Use of pillar and radial drills
* Completing work to a high standard
What They're Looking For
* Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering / machining
* Strong manual machining background
* Able to work from engineering drawings
* Experience within a workshop environment
