Connect Grp UK Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of groundworker / pipe layer in Essex. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced groundworkers with a background in pipe laying and drainage to join a well-established team in a dynamic environment. Requirements for the Role:
Previous experience as a groundworker, with specific experience as a pipe layer or drainage work
Proven background in general Groundwork duties
Ability to work effectively on-site with minimal supervision
Relevant qualifications or certifications related to groundwork and drainage (if applicable)
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
CSCS card
Right to work in the UK
CPCS tickets would be beneficial but not essential
Responsibilities of the Role:
Perform groundwork tasks, including pipe laying, drainage, and excavation work
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
Assist with site preparation, including setting out and excavation
Coordinate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time
Maintain equipment and ensure the work area is safe and clean
This position is offered on a LTD basis, with a pay rate of £20-£21 per hour.
