How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Class 2 Driver – Powered Access (Experienced Only)
    £17.00 – £17.50 per hour | Full-Time | Permanent Role

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a well-established powered access company. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity for the right candidate who has previously worked within the powered access industry.

    About the Role:
    You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of powered access machinery to and from customer sites. This is a hands-on role that requires solid knowledge of the equipment and site safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Delivering and collecting powered access equipment

    * Loading, unloading, and securing machinery correctly

    * Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance

    * Completing delivery paperwork accurately

    * Providing a professional service to customers on-site

    * Adhering to all health & safety and driver regulations

    Working Hours:

    * 10–12 hour shifts

    * Some days may exceed 12 hours depending on workload

    * Early starts and flexibility required

    Requirements (Essential):

    * Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

    * Minimum 1 year experience delivering powered access equipment

    * Must have a background working within the powered access industry

    * Valid plant and/or powered access tickets (e.g. IPAF)

    * Strong knowledge of load security and safe delivery practices

    * Good attitude, reliable, and punctual

    Pay & Benefits:
