Salary: £37,000 – £41,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Systems Engineer with strong hands-on experience in installation of CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and perimeter security systems.
This is a UK-wide field-based role working across commercial and high-security environments, delivering installation work across a range of integrated electronic security systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong practical installation experience and be confident working independently on customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, and perimeter security systems
* Fault diagnosis and repair of installed systems
* Planned preventative maintenance across multiple sites
* Basic testing and commissioning support where required
* Completion of engineering reports and site documentation
* Managing van stock, tools, and equipment
* Liaising with clients and site representatives
* Supporting system handover and demonstrations
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification
* Accurate reporting and data entry via company systems
Requirements
* Strong experience in installation of electronic security systems
* Experience with CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, or perimeter systems
* Ability to work independently in a field-based role
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills in client-facing environments
* Basic IT literacy for reporting and documentation
