How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Document Controller - Construction

    Job Type: Permanent
    Location: Chelsea, London (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
    Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

    A Document Controller is required for a leading construction company delivering high-quality projects across the UK and internationally. Our client is looking for an experienced and highly organised Document Controller to join their team based in Chelsea, working in a hybrid arrangement.

    What does a Document Controller role entail?

    * Managing and maintaining all project documentation in line with company procedures
    * Ensuring accurate document control, version control, and distribution
    * Liaising with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure documentation is up to date
    * Supporting the project team with administrative tasks and reporting
    * Maintaining document control systems (e.g. Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite or similar)
    * Ensuring all documentation is compliant with project and regulatory requirements

    Requirements for the Document Controller role:

    * 4-5 years' experience as a Document Controller within construction or engineering
    * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    * Experience using document management systems (Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint etc.)
    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    * Strong communication skills
