The Opportunity
An established structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team in a rural setting near Petersfield. The Role
You will play a key role in delivering structural engineering projects from early concept through to completion. The position offers a balance of technical design, client interaction, and on-site involvement, with the opportunity to take ownership of your work and contribute to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver structural design work at both concept and detailed stages
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Prepare design calculations, reports, and supporting technical documentation
Undertake site visits and inspections as part of project delivery
Work independently on projects while also contributing to a team environment
Provide oversight and support to less experienced engineers where requiredAbout You

Around 5+ years’ experience within structural engineering
Ideally Chartered (CEng/MIStructE) or actively working towards it
Confident delivering design work across a variety of project types
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients
Self-sufficient, organised, and comfortable taking initiative
