As a Transport Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance. You’ll be a key point of contact for drivers and internal teams, helping to maintain high service standards and operational accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Log discrepancies and ensure follow-up actions are raised
Monitor tachograph downloads and vehicle checks
Ensure compliance with Working Time Directive and Drivers’ Hours rules
Report any breaches or concerns to management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records
Liaise with planning, warehouse, and customer service teams
Act as the main point of contact for drivers during shifts
Handle delays, breakdowns, and operational issues
Provide clear instructions and route briefings
Support customers with delivery queries
About You
Strong communication and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working with data and systems
Good understanding of transport operations and compliance (preferred)
Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively
Committed to high standards and achieving results
