The Opportunity
A well-established engineering consultancy in Devon is seeking a skilled Structural CAD Technician to join their growing team. The Role
This position will see you taking responsibility for CAD deliverables across multiple projects, from initial concept through to completion. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and coordination of technical drawings, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Manage CAD deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Produce high-quality Planning, Construction, and As-Built drawings
Coordinate and review project outputs in line with quality standards and client requirements
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior CAD technicians
Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and project delivery standardsAbout You
Minimum of 2 years’ experience using AutoCAD within a structural or engineering environment
Experience working on a variety of projects
Either previous experience managing/mentoring technicians or a desire to step into a more senior role
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Good communication and teamwork skillsDesirable
Experience with Revit (beneficial but not essential)What’s on Offer
