Salary: £50,000 per annum
Claire at Amber Mace is working in partnership with a respected care provider to recruit a Children’s Registered Manager for a children’s EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home in Wolverhampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children’s Manager or a strong Deputy Manager looking to progress into a registered role, within a supportive and child-centred service.
The Role:
As Children’s Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and full compliance with Ofsted regulations. You will lead a dedicated staff team to deliver positive outcomes for children with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Overall management of the EBD home
Ensuring high-quality, therapeutic, and trauma-informed care
Leading, mentoring, and developing the staff team
Maintaining compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards
Managing safeguarding, care planning, and risk assessments
Building strong relationships with families, social workers, and professionals
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children in an Ofsted-regulated setting
Experience working with children with EBD or challenging behaviours
Registered Manager experience or Deputy Manager experience with a desire to progress
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation, and Ofsted frameworks
Resilient, compassionate, and confident leadership style
