We are looking for a confident and experienced Room Leader to take ownership of a nursery room, ensuring high-quality care, education and development for all children.
You will lead a small team, create a nurturing environment and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day running of a designated nursery room
* Plan and deliver stimulating activities in line with the EYFS
* Complete observations, assessments and learning journals
* Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and welfare requirements are met
* Support, guide and mentor junior staff within the room
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers
* Monitor children’s development and support individual learning needs
* Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging environment
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
* Previous experience as a Room Leader or strong Senior Practitioner
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
* Experience leading or supporting a team
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Passion for delivering high-quality childcare
Salary description
£27000.00 - £32000.00 per year
