The Role:
Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning
Assisting with literacy and numeracy interventions
Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting children with additional needs where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working in a UK primary school (essential)
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification (desirable)
Strong behaviour management skills
A proactive, positive and flexible attitude
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
