Lunchtime Supervisor

Supply Heroes is looking for a dependable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to become part of a welcoming nursery team in Tipton. This is a fulfilling opportunity to support young children during their lunchtime in a safe, supportive setting.

Hours: 2 hours per day (11:30am – 1:30pm)

Job Role

* Overseeing children during lunch in both dining and play areas

* Helping children with their meals and promoting good table manners

* Supporting children’s social development through inclusive play

* Reporting any concerns to senior staff in line with safeguarding policies

* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for all pupils

* Encouraging positive behaviour and handling minor issues in a calm manner

* Assisting with the preparation and tidying of lunch spaces

The Right Candidate

* A genuine passion for working with young children

* A patient, friendly, and approachable attitude

* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

* The ability to stay calm and professional in a busy environment

* Basic awareness of safeguarding practices (training can be provided)

* Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to the role

* Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential
