We’re now looking for an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team in Castle Donington on a full-time, temporary basis for six months (with the potential to lead to a permanent role).

The Role
As an Assembly Operative, you will manufacture products in line with production schedules and customer requirements.
Specifically, you will:
- Assemble Medstrom products in line with manufacturing schedules and customer requirements
- Undertake maintenance and general housekeeping of allocated production areas
- Communicate with team members and the Production Team Leader to ensure manufacturing schedules are achieved
- Monitor allocated inventory of raw materials and components for manufacture
- Take good care of allocated company tools
- Ensure any manufacturing issues are escalated as necessary
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (37.5 hours per week)
About You
To join us as an Assembly Operative, you will need:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, as would experience of using hand tools
- The ability to adhere to strict production deadlines
- The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to provide clear and concise communication, either verbally or in writing
- To be a good team player
