How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    ALUMINIUM WELDER**
    **SOUTH WEST LONDON – CONTRACT (3 MONTHS INITIALLY) - £39.24 PH**

    Ceto Talent is recruiting a skilled Aluminium Welder for a contract position with one of our valued clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Aluminium Welder looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic, professional environment.

    Aluminium Welder Requirements

    To be successful as an Aluminium Welder, you will have:

    Aluminium Welder coding to BS EN ISO 9606 or equivalent certification
    Extensive experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on aluminium
    Proven profile burning capabilities (OXY-ACETYLENE and PLASMA)
    Minimum 5 years' experience as an Aluminium Welder or welder specialising in aluminium
    Welding Apprenticeship or formal Welding Qualifications
    Significant experience in heavy engineering, preferably within the Railway industry
    Aluminium welding expertise
    Keen to learn, adaptable, and committed to professional development
    Willingness to complete a trade test at interview

Lillie Bridge Depot is a key maintenance and manufacturing facility supporting their transportation services.

    About the Aluminium Welder Role

    The Aluminium Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality aluminium products and components for the Railway industry. Utilising proven expertise in multiple welding techniques and fabrication processes, this role offers the chance to work on substantial projects supporting critical transport infrastructure whilst developing further specialist skills.

    Aluminium Welder Key Responsibilities

    Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on aluminium and various other materials to precise specifications. Carry out profile burning using OXY-ACETYLENE and PLASMA equipment. Execute fabrication tasks to the highest industry standards. Contribute to quality assurance processes to maintain Railway industry standards. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

    Rate: £39.24 per hour (Umbrella)
    Location: Lillie Bridge Depot, South West London
    Type: Contract
    Duration: 3 months initially
    Start Date: Immediate
