You will be responsible for the overall management of the nursery, ensuring outstanding standards of care, education, and compliance, while leading and developing a strong team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery
* Lead, inspire and manage a team to deliver exceptional EYFS practice
* Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
* Drive occupancy, business performance and financial sustainability
* Manage budgets, staffing, ratios and resources effectively
* Lead on Ofsted inspections and aim for Good or Outstanding outcomes
* Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external agencies
* Oversee staff recruitment, training, supervisions and appraisals
* Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 qualification (Level 5/6 preferred)
* Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up
* Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
* Experience managing budgets, occupancy and nursery performance
* Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
* Passion for delivering high-quality Early Years education
