Key Responsibilities:
* Support with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility
* Assist with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
* Help with meal preparation and feeding where required
* Administer and support with prescribed medication
* Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry and shopping
* Work alongside healthcare professionals including GPs and district nurses
* Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
* Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times
* Respond calmly and effectively to changing or emergency situations

The Person
To succeed as a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will need:
* A caring and considerate nature
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions
* Understanding of person-centred care
* Willingness to provide personal care
* Flexibility to meet service user needs
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or similar
* Previous care experience
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
