Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive nursery/school setting in Tipton. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their learning and development.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
About the Role:
* Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting
* Assisting with daily routines, play-based learning, and structured activities
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider early years team
* Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
* Observing and reporting on children’s progress where required
* Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times
The Right Candidate Will:
* Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or another qualification from the DfE-approved Early Years qualifications list (for example: Level 3 Early Years Educator, Level 3 Childcare, or similar)
* Have experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, or EYFS setting
* Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about supporting young children
* Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Be reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
