Analytical Development Scientist (6-month contract)

Role Purpose:
As an Analytical Development Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing processes for both new and existing products. Your expertise will drive improvements through in-depth measurement science, ensuring we meet our business targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver cutting-edge analytical solutions for process development and manufacturing support.
Stay ahead of scientific advancements and proactively apply them to your projects.
Plan and conduct non-routine chemical and physical analyses to support the development and manufacturing of processes.
Provide expert laboratory support in Analytical Chemistry to local and global teams.
Mentor and develop fellow scientists in analytical techniques and best practices.
Champion safety and compliance, improving ways of working with our Departmental Safety Leadership teams.
Maintain accurate records and communicate findings in line with regulatory requirements.

What You Bring:
We are looking for candidates with a combination of education, experience, and skills:

A degree (BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry with a strong track record in analytical method development.
Comprehensive knowledge of chemical and physical analytical techniques (e.g., LC, GC, MS, NMR, FTIR) and critical data analysis.
Substantial experience in manufacturing support activities, including process monitoring and data analysis.
Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a knack for networking.
A proactive approach to learning and applying new skills, with the ability to handle complex situations.
