Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a skilled team of maintenance engineers across planned and reactive maintenance.
* Manage critical breakdowns and maintenance activities across specialist plant and heavy equipment.
* Oversee contractors, statutory inspections and health & safety compliance.
* Ensure availability of critical spares and coordinate capex projects.
* Personally undertake plant related Plc Programming
* Mentor apprentices, issue permits and uphold high maintenance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Electrically qualified – to HND level.
* Proven track record in managing maintenance within heavy engineering sectors such as:
* Recycling
* Manufacturing
* Waste Treatment
* Quarrying
* Steel Processing
* Oil & Gas
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to engineering challenges.
Location: Easily commutable from most pasts of the West Midlands
