Trailer Technician / HGV Technician (Trailers)

Location: Knottingley, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday – Friday | Days
Salary: £38,000 + Overtime (Time & ½)
Bonus: £500 Welcome Bonus

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Trailer Technician / Workshop Technician to join a well-established fleet and asset rental business based in the Knottingley area

This is a hands-on trailer-focused role, carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs within a professional workshop environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Carrying out PMI inspections and routine servicing

* Completing repairs and diagnostics on trailer types including curtain siders, box top, double deck and refrigerated units.

* Working on brakes, axles, suspension and EBS / ABS systems

* Preparing trailers for MOT and ensuring roadworthiness

* Working collaboratively within the workshop team

What We’re Looking For

* Experience as a Trailer Technician, HGV Technician or Workshop Technician

* Strong mechanical knowledge of trailers and HGV equipment

* Experience in a fleet maintenance or workshop environment

* A safety-focused and reliable approach to work

Pay & Benefits

* £38,000 basic salary
