    Job description

    Schools across Hemel Hempstead are currently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced SEN Teachers to support students with special educational needs in KS3.

    As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils, supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

    This position of is ideal for a qualified SEN Teacher in Hemel Hempstead with experience in KS3 settings and a strong passion for supporting students with additional needs.

    Key Responsibilities - SEN Teacher, Hemel Hempstead

    Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to SEN students
    Support pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
    Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
    Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff
    Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as needed
    Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals where appropriateThe Ideal Candidate - SEN Teacher, Hemel Hempstead

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    Experience working with students with special educational needs
    Strong understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour management
