How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Exhibitions Project Manager

    Our client is a well-established creative construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across the UK and internationally. Operating across exhibitions, museums, contemporary art and events, they provide a full end-to-end service from concept through to on-site delivery.

    Due to continued growth and internal restructuring, they are now seeking an experienced Exhibitions Project Manager to join their team based in Croydon.

    The Role

    As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of exhibition projects from initial brief through to installation. You will act as the key point of contact for clients while coordinating internal teams and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage and deliver a range of exhibition and event projects 
    Lead client communication, providing regular updates on programme and progress 
    Present proposals and support new business opportunities 
    Coordinate internal teams including design, CAD and production 
    Manage procurement of materials and project resources 
    Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and exhibition organisers 
    Oversee health & safety documentation and compliance 
    Monitor budgets, costs and project timelines 
    Attend site and manage installation phases where required The Candidate

    Proven experience delivering exhibition projects within a design & build or creative construction environment 
    Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively 
    Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects 
    Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and programme delivery 
    Organised, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team 
    Flexible approach to working hours in line with project demands Key Skills

    Project management experience (3+ years preferred) 
    Knowledge of construction methods and exhibition build processes 
    Strong organisational and problem-solving ability 
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    IT proficiency including Microsoft Office 
    Basic CAD knowledge advantageous Package

    Salary circa £50,000 (depending on experience) 
    Office based in Croydon
