How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Installation Engineer / Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer required to join a leading HVAC Hire Company.

    The Installation Engineer / Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, including the occasional commissioning of HVAC cooling solution products such as chillers, boilers and air handling units (AHUs),

    This Installation Engineer / Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer will have Boiler Management Systems (BMS)

    25 days annual leave, Plus bank holidaysInstallation Engineer / Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Role –

    Install HVAC products such as boilers, air handling units (AHUs), chiller systems.
    Undertake service, maintenance, repair, breakdown on HVAC products including Chiller units, Boilers, air handling units (AHUs) and/or chiller systems.
    Support site-based commissioning activity, including customer handover
    Liaise with various engineering departments
    Able to travel to call outs across the UKInstallation Engineer / Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Requirements

    Experience Installing and Servicing Chiller units, Boilers, air handling units (AHUs) and/or chiller systems.
    Coming from a service/repair/maintenance background working on HVAC products including BMS systems, air handling units (AHUs), and/or chiller systems
    Understanding of refrigeration systems, chillers, air handling units (AHU’s) boilers and BMS systems
    F-Gas Certified with Level 2/3 Refrigeration system qualification
    DBS Checks
    Able to travel to site located in Redditch
