About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position carrying out maintenance, repairs, and small works across Mid Devon, with occasional projects in North Devon. You'll work across domestic, commercial, and local authority environments, delivering high‑quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a range of maintenance and repair tasks, depending on your trade bias
Diagnose issues and complete work efficiently and to a high standard
Work independently or as part of a small team
Maintain accurate records of completed work
Follow health & safety procedures at all times
Represent the organisation in a professional and friendly manner
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly skilled in at least one core trade, with good all‑round maintenance ability
Reliable, proactive, and able to solve problems on site
Comfortable working both independently and with colleagues
A great communicator with a customer‑focused attitude
Able to travel throughout Mid Devon and occasionally to North Devon
Requirements
Proven experience in a trade or multi‑trade role
Full UK driving licence
A strong work ethic and commitment to quality
Own tools preferred (equipment can be supplied if needed)
