How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Kerry

Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Every day we partner with customers to create healthier, tastier and more sustainable products that are consumed by billions of people across the world. Our vision is to be our customers' most valued partner, creating a world of sustainable nutrition. A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.

    About the role

At Kerry, we’re passionate about creating sustainable nutrition solutions that nourish people, society, and the planet. We’re now looking for a Senior RD&A Technologist to join our Meat Coating team and play a key role in developing market‑leading coating systems that deliver exceptional performance for our customers in the meat and meat‑alternative space.

In this role, you’ll combine hands‑on formulation expertise with customer-focused innovation—bringing ideas to life through thoughtful design, technical excellence, and meaningful collaboration. If you’re driven by curiosity, energized by problem‑solving, and excited to create solutions that make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

    Key responsibilities

Create, test, and optimise coating systems including batters, breadings, adhesion systems, glazes, and functional coatings.

Conduct benchtop experiments, sensory evaluations, and technical validations that help us deliver truly differentiated solutions.

Execute coating application trials using pilot‑scale equipment (tumbler, applicator, fryer, oven, freezer, etc.).

Simulate industrial processes to ensure every solution is robust, scalable, and ready to perform in real‑world production environments.

Support customer projects through sample preparation, technical demos, and participation in plant trials.

Troubleshoot coating or processing challenges, providing science‑backed recommendations that build trust and deliver value.

Prepare technical insights and contribute to customer meetings alongside our commercial teams.

Manage multiple projects at once, balancing technical depth with timely delivery to meet business and customer priorities.

    Qualifications and skills

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, or a related field.

Experience working with meat products and/or coating systems (batter, breading, adhesion technologies).

Hands‑on laboratory and pilot plant experience.

Strong understanding of food processing and coating performance across frying, baking, and other thermal systems.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Supporting customer projects or participating in plant trials.

Knowledge of clean‑label, gluten‑free, or plant‑based coating technologies
