About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a large energy provider for a Static Electrical Engineer to join their Chester site. This role is ideal for a confident, experienced engineer who can work independently and maintain excellent standards of electrical safety and compliance.
You will be responsible for electrical installation, testing, and inspection, working closely with the client and contractors, and ensuring all work is fully documented and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solo site work, taking ownership of day-to-day electrical tasks.
- Carry out installations in line with Level 3 Electrical Installation standards.
- Conduct electrical testing and inspection (2391 Test & Inspect) accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with clients and contractors to maintain smooth site operations.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for audits and inspections.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Level 3 Electrical Installation and 2391 Test & Inspect certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable work experience with wet signatures for background checks.
- Confident working independently on site.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and contractors.
