Are you a detail-oriented Pre-Boarder with a background in "house bashing"? Search Consultancy is looking for a skilled specialist in Newcastle to take ownership of the pre-board inspection and snagging process.
This isn't just a boarding role; we need someone who understands the "first-fix" stage inside out and can ensure every plot is 100% compliant and ready for the boarding teams to move in without delays.

The Package
* Pay Rate: High Rate of pay (Negotiable based on experience).
* Hours: 39-47 hours per week (Site dependent).
* Location: Key residential developments in Newcastle.
* Duration: Ongoing contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
You will be the final line of defence before boards are fixed. Your tasks will include:
* Pre-Board Snagging: Conducting thorough walkthroughs to ensure all timber/metal studwork is plumb and level.
* Mastic Work: Applying fire and acoustic mastic to floor and ceiling junctions as required by site specs.
* Technical Checks: Verifying that all noggins (for radiators, kitchens, etc.) and insulation are correctly installed.
* M&E Verification: Ensuring first-fix plumbing and electrical works are positioned correctly and protected.
* Sign-Off: Clearing debris and certifying that the plot is ready for the boarding/plastering teams.

What We're Looking For
* Experience: Proven track record in high-volume new build housing (specifically pre-board/snagging stages).
* CSCS Card: CSCS card is mandatory.
* Tools: You must carry your own basic hand tools and a mastic gun.
* Eye for Detail: The ability to spot a missing noggin or a misplaced cable at a glance.
* Reliability: Someone who can work independently and keep the site schedule on track.
