How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    GAP Claims Assessor
    Warwick, Warwickshire (Hybrid – 1 day from home)

    We are working with a well-established and highly respected insurance provider within the automotive sector, who are looking to recruit a GAP Claims Assessor.

    This is an opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative experience who is looking to build a long-term career in insurance claims. The role offers full training, career progression, and a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday hours (8:30am – 5:00pm).

    The role of GAP Claims Assessor

    As a GAP Claims Assessor, you will manage a portfolio of claims from start to finish, acting as the key point of contact for policy holders. You will liaise with insurers and third parties to ensure claims are handled efficiently and achieve the best possible outcomes.

    Key responsibilities of GAP Claims Assessor

    Manage GAP insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement
    Contact customers to explain the claims process and provide ongoing updates
    Research vehicle values and negotiate with insurers where required
    Validate claim documentation and ensure compliance with procedures
    Maintain accurate records using internal CRM systems
    Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and general administration
    Build strong relationships with customers, insurers, and key stakeholders
    To be successful as a GAP Claims Assessor you should have

    Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
    Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    Customer-focused with a positive and empathetic approach
    Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
    Previous experience in claims, insurance, or office administration is advantageous
