A growing technology‑focused Engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support high‑value programmes and drive commercial success. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with Defence, Aerospace or Public Sector experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full contract lifecycle: bids, negotiation, award, delivery, variations and close‑out
Support pricing models, cost build‑ups and commercial proposals
Oversee change control, claims, disputes and commercial risks
Work with multiple contract types including Firm Price, Cost Plus / Cost Reimbursable and Framework Agreements
Collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, finance, legal and commercial teams
Skills & Experience
Experience in Defence, Aerospace or Public Sector
Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing and contract management
Knowledge of Procurement Act 2023, SSCR, DEFCONs and DEFSTANs
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities
SC clearance desirable (or willingness to obtain)
MCIPS and export control awareness (ITAR/EAR) advantageous but not essential
