School Cleaner

Adecco are currently looking for a School Cleaner to work for our client in the Rossendale area, on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness across classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins.
Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and within allocated timeframes.
Safely use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with school policies.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe environment for students and staff.

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience is essential, ideally within a school or educational setting.
A good understanding of cleaning procedures and COSHH.
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Due to the rural location, it is preferred that you drive as there are no close by transport links.

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 6am-11am

Hourly Rate: £13.00ph
