How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Position: Field-Based Commissioning Engineer/Technician

    Location: Various Airports Nationwide and Internationally

    Mission/Responsibilities:
    As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all equipment and facilities at client sites are installed correctly and operate as expected. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering functional systems that align with project scopes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Test and deliver functional systems in accordance with project requirements.
    Adhere to the commissioning processes established by the organisation.
    Train customers on product usage at both operator and maintainer levels.
    Ensure a smooth handover of systems to clients.
    Travel nationwide (including Ireland) and internationally as needed.
    Provide recommendations for operational improvements.
    Develop and implement test procedures.
    Diagnose and resolve faults effectively.
    Collaborate with clients and installation/project engineers.
    Supervise engineering and technical staff.
    Gather and analyse performance and safety data.
    Produce reports and documentation.
    Offer technical support as required.Knowledge and Previous Experience:

    Electrical Engineering experience.
    Proficiency in PLC controls and HMI systems.
    Qualifications or experience with PLC software is a plus.
    Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
    Familiarity with the airport sector is advantageous.
    A full UK driving licence is required.Soft Competencies:
