How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Customer Service Supervisor
    Swadlincote, up to £34,000
    Permanent | Full time, Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish times)

    We're working with a growing, well-established business South Derbyshire currently looking to appoint an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead and develop their customer support function.

    You'll take ownership of a busy customer service operation, leading from the front to ensure high standards, strong team engagement, and continuous improvement across the function.

    Key Responsibilities:
    -Lead, motivate, and develop a customer service team to achieve KPIs
    -Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring all enquiries are handled efficiently
    -Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements
    -Manage escalated customer issues with professionalism and care
    -Work cross-functionally to improve the overall customer experience
    -Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team development
    -Provide performance insights and reporting to senior leadership

    -Proven experience in a customer service leadership role
    -Strong people management and coaching skills
    -Confident communicator with a proactive, hands-on approach
    -Comfortable working with KPIs, data, and performance metrics

    -Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
