EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-regarded primary academy in Dunstable, Bedfordshire for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years setting in a school that caters for children aged 2-11 and holds a "Good" Ofsted rating (June 2022). The school prides itself on delivering a holistic, Christian-based education, nurturing confident, compassionate and independent learners within a warm, family-oriented environment.

The Role:

Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, both in class and through targeted small-group or 1:1 support
Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of engaging learning activities
Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion and emotional development
Helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environmentRequirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning / Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience working as a EYFS Teaching Assistant is highly desirable
A caring, proactive and patient approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Able to commue to DunstableTrial Opportunity:
