How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Junior Architectural Technologist, Bristol, £30k - £34k depending on experience.

    A highly regarded, design led architectural practice are looking to bring in a Junior Architectural Technologist to join their team in Bristol. This is a genuinely strong opportunity to join a well established consultancy with global presence, known for delivering high quality, technically complex projects across a wide range of sectors.

    The practice has a strong reputation within the industry and a consistently busy pipeline of work, offering exposure to projects that are both technically challenging and varied in nature. You’ll gain experience across multiple sectors and stages, working within a collaborative and well structured team environment. Opportunities at this level within a practice of this calibre are relatively rare, particularly with the level of project exposure on offer.

    The role would suit someone with around 3–5 years’ experience who has a solid technical grounding and is confident using Revit. You will be supporting the delivery of projects currently at technical and construction stage, with involvement across sectors including healthcare, defence, education, commercial and infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities

    Producing and developing technical drawings using Revit
    Supporting delivery of projects at technical and construction stages
    Assisting with the preparation of detailed drawing packages
    Coordinating information with consultants and wider project teams
    Ensuring drawings are accurate, compliant and buildable
    Working across multiple sectors and project types
    Supporting senior team members in the delivery of live projects
     Requirements

    Relevant Architectural degree
    3–5 years’ experience within a UK architectural practice
    Background in a technical / delivery-focused role
    Proficiency in Revit is essential
    Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
    Experience across multiple sectors (desirable)
    Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
    Ability to work well within a team environment
     You’ll gain valuable experience working on live projects at delivery stage, supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
