About the Role:
As the Nursing Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring high-quality care for all residents. You will oversee a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, ensuring they provide exceptional standards of care in line with CQC guidelines and best practice standards in elderly care.
Our Christchurch care home is known for its outstanding reputation, having received a positive CQC inspection. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about elderly care, has a strong clinical background, and possesses the management skills to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of nurses and care staff in providing high-quality care for elderly residents.
Ensure CQC compliance with all regulations and standards for care homes.
Oversee budgeting, staffing, and day-to-day operations of the nursing home.
Support staff training, development, and performance to enhance team skills.
Ensure a person-centred care approach is consistently maintained across all services.
Foster a culture of respect, compassion, and dignity in care.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and proven experience in clinical nursing.
Ideally, at least 3 years of management experience in a nursing home or elderly care facility.
Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in elderly care.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
